In a world so distracted by money and sponsorships and corperate monetization, we must become unprofitable. So offensive to the establishment that they say we a less than worthless. That we actively deserve censorship. In this world true art cannot, must not be sold. When you rely on art for your life you compromise yourself for your survival. More and more of yourself becomes diluted by sucking up to the regulations of companies dictating your livelyhood. This cannot be allowed. Art is a method of overcoming and working around trials, not a trial to be overcome for your base right to live. Art is a means to incite discussion on overshadowed sections of the human experience and shine light on things some would prefer to keep hidden. When your patron refuses to pay unless you censor yourself you are being forced to discard your own creative vision because you simply cannot survive without doing so and the system that forces this should not be allowed to exist. The way that we end this system is through their own restrictive minetization schemes. Every creative, no matter the medium, no matter the size, no matter the audience must in some way stop making the companies money. Stop using their social medias, put your art on a website like this one. Sell your art directly, don't rely on algorithms to spread your talent. Or simply become too vulgar to advertise with. Youtube won't pay you if you swear too much, Youtube won't even host you if you show some gross shit. This way, they can't make money off of you. Sure, without big platforms your art won't be seen by as many people but if your art is neutered for mass apeal is it your art anyway?
These are poorly thought out rants written by a mentally ill person, don't come in looking for a cohesive political essay or anything.
